For those of you who don't play DnD, this creature is a gloaming - a mortal descendant of a shadow elemental. For the longest time I've wanted to play a winged halfling. Silly I know, but this immediately led me to LOVE the gloaming race. They're small, winged and liberal. X3
Aaaanyway, I'm not really all that pleased with how this one came out. Gloamings are s'post to have skin that glows. I ALMOST got the glow effect to work, but something just doesn’t look right about her details. Ah well. I like the way the wings turned out, and I'm rather proud of the tattoos. Don't ask me what language those tattoos are, or what they mean. I have no idea. ^_^;;
So anyway, I don't remember this one's name, but she's an illusionist and a shadow crafter.

First, out line the highlights with the polygon tool and then fill in with a much brighter version of the skin color you are using.
Next make a new OVERLAY layer over the image in with the brush tool/airbrush , you should be able to blend in a very gradual and radiant glow.
